How to use Christmas week to boost work productivity

Here at Inspire, we are not sure how it came around so fast? But here we are days from Christmas. As Hospitality and Retail ramp it up in this final week we see lots of businesses winding down.

But there are ways to use these final days productively and we look at why the festive season can revamp your workplace.

It is a great time to reach out to your Customers.

Christmas events, gifts, cards are all opportunities to reach out to your customers. Even a well-worded thank you note goes a long way to score points with customer satisfaction.

It’s also a good time to reconnect with lost customers.

A Clear deadline

Don’t “wind-down” – rack up the productivity and use the Christmas break deadline to complete all the tasks you’ve been putting off. Knowing you’ve finished with everything is taken care of means you can enjoy your holiday.

Plans for 2020

It’s a great time to review your year, perhaps audit your customer or employee feedback. Use that information to make changes and improvements for 2020.

Socialise with Colleagues

Ah, yes… the works Christmas Party. Whatever your team get up to use it as a great opportunity to mingle with other departments. Let your hair down and learn about your co-workers out of context

Rest, refresh and reset. Use the time to give yourself a break ready to launch yourself into 2020. Time away from work has been proven to have huge health benefits. Go enjoy time with loved ones and switch off.

We know not everyone gets this time and a big shout out to all our friends across the Services and in Hospitality and retail.

We at Inspire are practising all the above! We have some exciting news coming for 2020 including a new team member and some Inspiring events as we partner with amazing charities to really Inspire young people into Hospitality and Customer service!
